Its the Haarlem edition lets hope a Amsterdam edition will be organised soon. Its a bit of a cruise to get there but thats part of the fun. Kom ik geen lage bruggen tegen?\nDirect na de Molenplas op de ringvaart richting Amsterdam gaat de Vijfhuizerbrug (1\,10 meter) extra open om 22:00 uur\, 22:30 uur\, 23:00 uur en de laatste om 23:30 uur. In Amsterdam 14 kilometer verderop gaat de Sloterbrug (0\,80 meter) extra open om 23:30 uur\, 00:00 uur\, 00:30 uur en de laatste om 01:00 uur. \nOok is er de mogelijkheid om je boot in de haven bij het festivalterrein te laten liggen. Bijvoorbeeld in het geval de schipper te veel gedronken heeft. Je kunt je boot dan uiterlijk 12:00 uur de volgende dag op komen halen.

DESCRIPTION:The canal parade is one of the biggest and free open air events from the Netherlands\, Its one big floating carnival with colourful people dancing on boats\, floats and the key sides. Its big like Kings Day only now it will be all the colours of the rainbow instead orange. Because Amsterdam is also hosting EuroPride in 2016 it will be a very special one this year. \nThe canal parade is a party for everybody; no matter who you are who you love or where you are from 80 LGBTI-organisations show of in a festive manner for what they stand and fight for every first Saturday of August. \nYou can follow the parade from the key side but even better from your own (Rented maybe?) boat. \nThe route \nThe floats will start their route in the Westerdok and will sail eastwards via the Prinsengracht\, Amstel\,  After the famous (Magere brug ) to starboard into Nieuwe Herengracht towards the Oosterdok and Scheepvaart museum where the famous 3 masted tallship Clipper Stad Amsterdam will salute all the floats.(After the parade is a chance to sail past the Clipper Stad Amsterdam and see it up close) The first float leaves at the Prinsengracht at 14.00h and the the last float will close the parade at the end around 18.00h. It is also not possible to construct with a boat on the trail. This is in connection with the safety of the swimmers. Keizersgracht has been completely closed since Thursday\, September 8th for all the boating traffic associated with the construction of the finish construction.

DESCRIPTION:Grachtenfestival Amsterdam (‘Canal Festival’) is an annual festival of classical music held at special locations on and around the canals in the centre of Amsterdam\, with offshoots in other parts of town such as North of the IJ. Over a period of ten days\, the Grachtenfestival provides a stage for young musical talent\, choosing an appropriate and often historical setting for each musical event on or beside Amsterdam’s numerous waterways. \nThe Prinsengracht Concert\nOne of the highlights is the Prinsengracht Concert which you can visit by boat. The concert is always held on the famed canal pontoon in front of Hotel Pulitzer and broadcasted on national television. The concert is on Saturday 19th of  August 2017.
